Don't Shoot: Cleveland Police Officers Open Fire at Boarding Home

CLEVELAND, (WOIO) - Cleveland police officers fired their weapons inside a boarding home early Wednesday morning while other police officers were inside investigating.

Officers were called to a boarding home located at 2321 W. 40th Street after a male reportedly threatened another tenant with a gun.

While officers were investigating and searching the home for suspects, shots were fired into the home by other Cleveland police officers.

No one was injured.

The suspect threatening the tenant was arrested and a firearm was seized from him. The male is being held for investigation of Aggravated Menacing and Having Weapons Under Disability.

Cleveland's Use of Deadly Force Investigation Team is in charge of investigating the officers' use of deadly force.
