ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - A father and son have both been charged with domestic violence after a domestic dispute turned into a sword fight!
Thomas Heffner, 49-years-old, and his 18-year-old son, Thomas Heffner Jr., were arguing over broken items in the home that the teen reportedly said he would replace.
The father argued that since his son had a new job, he should pay for the items and the teen protested claiming he was being treated unfairly.

The father was armed with a 15-inch blade while the grabbed a 3-foot blade.
Both men pleaded innocent to domestic violence charges in court Monday and were ordered by Judge John Musson to keep their distance until their pretrial hearing on Thursday, August 27th.
