CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two people found murdered in their College Community Avenue apartment were riddled with bullets.

Cleveland Police are calling the double shooting a cold-blooded execution-style murder.

A male and female were found dead inside of an apartment at 2639 Community College Ave. around 12:00 a.m. Thursday.

Three children were asleep in the same apartment during the shootings.

The female victim, 27-year-old Lynette Thompson, was found on her stomach. Thompson's autopsy will be performed Friday, August 28th.

According to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's autopsy report, 34-year-old Tony Paulk, suffered nine gunshot wounds to his head, neck, trunk and lower extremities.

Police think all parties knew each other because the door wasn't kicked in or any other evidence of a struggle.

Police are confident an arrest can be made in 72-hours.

A fund has been setup in Lynette's Thompson's name.  You can donate at any branch of KeyBank.
