TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The woman whose body was discovered in the waters of Lake Erie this week has been identified by the Ottawa County sheriff's office.

Detectives positively identified 26-year-old Jennifer Snively's of 1132 Earl St. in Toledo after talking with her mom and brother Thursday.

Detectives received several calls Tuesday night from people who recognized the pictures they saw on WTOL.

Jennifer's body was found in the water off Lamberjack Marina in Carroll Township.

Police say she was killed somewhere else; her body weighted down by blocks and dumped into the water.

Her body was covered with tattoos and several stood out. The name Tonio on her left arm and the five-point star with a star burst on her shoulders.

The autopsy does reveal a cause of death, but investigators are not releasing it at this time as they continue to search for her killer.
