Cleveland, OH (WOIO) - Ohio's Parole Board has denied clemency for Romell Broom.
The Cleveland man was convicted in 1984 of the abduction, rape and murder murder of Tryna Middleton and sentenced to death.
Middleton was walking home from a football game with two friends when she was kidnapped.
Broom's attorney say he didn't receive a fair trial because police records were suppressed.
The parole board did not agree.
The unanimous decision came down Friday.
