CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland's own "Big Dawg," owning up to driving drunk.

John Thompson pleaded no contest Tuesday morning for last month's drunk driving stop near Kamm's Corner.

The Browns super fan was drinking at one of the bars at Kamm's Corner when someone called police on him after he left and said there was a drunk driver on the road.

Police pulled Thompson over just after 9:45 p.m. at W. 128th and Lorain.

Big Dawg apparently failed his field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level recorded at .128, more than the legal limit.

Thompson was sentenced to one year probation and will have to attend several MADD meetings.
