NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (CNN) -- Police arrested a Yale lab technician Thursday in connection with the murder of Annie Le, a graduate student whose body was found in the wall of a research building.
Bond for Raymond Clark, 24, has been set at $3 million, New Haven Police Chief James Lewis said.
Le's body was found in the basement wall of an off-campus medical research building on Sunday, which was to have been her wedding day. She had been strangled, the Connecticut medical examiner's office said.
Clark was initially taken into custody on Wednesday, after authorities obtained a search warrant for his home and a warrant allowing them to collect a DNA sample from him, Lewis said. He was later released, but police had been monitoring the hotel where he was staying.
Lewis said the arrest "went smoothly."
