Deadly Punch: Jury Reaches a Verdict in Warehouse District Fight

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It was split verdict for a 28 year old Cleveland man accused in a deadly fight in the Warehouse District.

A jury found Walter Triplett guilty of punching 22 year old Michael Corrado but not guilty of his death.

The altercation happened in the early morning hours of April 30th on W. 6th Street.

Prosecutors claimed Triplett killed Corrado of Mentor with one punch.  Corrado fell and hit his head on the pavement.

He died at MetroHealth Medical Center.
