Flu Shots at Hopkin's Airport Today!

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Hopkins and County Health Department will be hosting a Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic Friday, October 2nd.

Travelers who have not received a seasonal flu shot are encouraged to get on while at the airport. The flu shot clinic is open to airport, airline and tenant employees as well as to the general visiting public.

At the entrance of Security Checkpoint B on the ticketing level

When: Friday, Oct. 2, 2009

7:30 - 11:30 a.m.

It's flu season again and travelers are encouraged to get their seasonal flu shots. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health will host a seasonal flu shot clinic on Friday, Oct. 2nd from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the entrance of Security Checkpoint B in between the Information Counter and the former Northwest Airlines ticket counter on the ticketing level.

The cost is $30.

Typically, flu shot clinics were held twice weekly through the month of December; however, due to the increased demand for H1N1 vaccines, staffing for seasonal flu shots have been scaled down to accommodate H1N1 vaccines.

An additional seasonal flu shot clinic will be held on Friday, Nov. 6th from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the same location.
