CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - New information revealed on the H1N1 virus.  Doctors with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the virus is now widespread in 46 states.

Since the outbreak of the virus in April in the US, 1,000 people have died and 20,000 have been hospitalized.

The CDC also says one in every five kids in the United States had flu-like symptoms.

Most of those cases were H1N1.  Now people are more concerned with getting protected.

But don't expect to see the vaccine available at your doctor's office.
