CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - New details in the brutal beating death of a little Cleveland boy.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner has ruled the death of five-year-old Arshon Baker a homicide.

An autopsy on Tuesday found the child died of blunt force trauma. The Coroner found evidence of trauma to the little boy's head and body.

The brutal beating happened Friday at 6615 Ovington when police say Baker grabbed his mother's dress to get her attention.

Mother Angel Glass allegedly beat the boy for his actions.

Cleveland Police Lt. Thomas Stacho tells 19 Action News that Baker's body was covered with cuts, scars, bruises and burns both old and new, and also had injuries to bottom of his feet and groin area.

Glass delivered Baker in prison while serving a 3-year term for her part in attacking a police officer. Cleveland Police arrested Glass on suspicion of child abuse Friday evening.
