Wanted: Fugitive Sought In Akron

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshal Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are asking for assistance from the public for information that could lead to the arrest of Deandre N. Davis. Davis is wanted for Felonious Assault that occurred on September 05, 2009 and Domestic Violence that occurred on July 25, 2009. He also has a couple of traffic related charges from July 17, 2009.

Davis is wanted for Felonious Assault that occurred in the 700 block of Palmetto Avenue. The victim reported that he was getting something out of his car around 10:30 in the evening, when Davis opened the passenger side door and fired a shot at Victim. The victim was struck in the leg and transported to a local hospital.

Davis is also wanted for Domestic Violence that occurred on July 25, 2009 at the intersection of Baughman Street and Grace Avenue. Davis' girlfriend reported that Davis pulled her hair, knocked her to the ground and punched her in the face several times before fleeing.

Deandre N. Davis has a last known address on Greenwood Avenue. He is 28 years old, 5'08" tall and 210 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.

A reward is being offered by the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force for information directly related to the arrest of Deandre N. Davis.
