CLEVEALAND, OH (WOIO) - 19 Action News has learned Cleveland cops have found two decomposed bodies in a home.

And they've found a shallow grave.

The bodies were found on the city's southeast side in a building on East 122 and Imperial.

Sex crimes investigators were serving a search warrant on 50-year old registered sex offender Anthony Sowell.

Sowell's suspected of strangling a woman with an extension cord until she lost consciousness. He even threatened to kill her.

A SWAT unit entered and found the decomposed bodies on the 3rd floor.

They also found what appears to be a freshly dug shallow grave in the basement.

Sowell is still on the run and a person of interest in several other unsolved crimes.

He spent 15 years in an Ohio penitentiary in 1989 for Rape.

He wears eyeglasses and frequently wears a mustache and occasionally a beard.  He is known to walk the streets "scrapping" and frequents area scrap metal yards.

If you know where Sowell is, please call the Cleveland Police Sex Crimes Unit at 216.623.5630.
