The Cavaliers gave the hometown Halloween crowd a treat on Saturday, beating visiting Charlotte 90-79. Mo Williams lead the team with 24 points, LeBron James had only 14 but was close to a triple-double. James finished with nine assists and seven rebounds.
The Cavs only lead by four at the half but opened it up in the third quarter, outscoring the Bobcats 21-13 in the stanza.
Cleveland guard Delonte West made his 2009 debut, coming off the bench to score 13 points. He was greeted by a standing ovation when he entered the game with 4:22 left in the first quarter. West missed the entire pre-season and the first three games with personal problems.
With the win the Cavaliers move to 2-2 on the season, they are off until Tuesday when the Washington Wizards come to town.
