Farewell: Cleveland Strangler Victim Laid To Rest Among Family, Friends

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Several victims of the Cleveland Strangler will be laid to rest in the coming days. 

One of the first victims to be identified was remembered Thursday morning.

Telacia Fortson was laid to rest among family and friends at the Grace Missionary Baptist Church on the city's Eastside. The 31-year-old mother of three was last seen in June.

Her services are still in the planning stages
Their accused killer - Anthony Sowell - was arrested and charged with aggravated murder, assault, kidnapping and rape. This, after the bodies of 11 women were discovered at his Imperial Avenue home. Sowell could face the death penalty if convicted.
