CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - An Avon Middle School teacher cuffed and stuffed after allegedly racking up two grand on stolen credit cards.

Anne Maiden has been charged with receiving stolen property, forgery and misuse of a credit card.

Police tell 19 Action News Maiden is responsible for using stolen credit cards in the Westside suburbs to purchase high-end electronics and cigarettes.

The credit cards were stolen from two vehicle break-ins which occurred between August and October in Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation. Maiden is also believed to be involved in vehicle break-ins in the Medina County area.

The Avon Local School District has placed a substitute in Maiden's classroom and will continue to monitor the situation.
