Revealed: Charla Nash Speaks Publicly for the First Time After the Attack

Cleveland, OH (WOIO) - Months after having her entire face ripped off by a 14-year old 200lb. chimpanzee Charla Nash let the world see how she looks.
The Connecticut woman, who has called the Cleveland Clinic home for the past nine months, spoke with Oprah in her first televised interview since the February attack.
Nash's recovery has been nothing short of amazing and says she agreed to the interview to warn people about the dangers of having exotic animals as pets.
Nash admits she has a long way to go.
The 35-year old still needs around-the-clock care and is facing several major reconstructive surgeries including face and hand transplants.
The chimp who attacked Charla was shot and killed by Connecticut police.
