AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The sentencing hearing for a convicted cop killer has  been delayed yet again.

Lawyers for Ashford Thompson informed the court they could no long defend him.

This, after the 24-year-old pleaded guilty to the cold-blooded murder of Twinsburg Police Officer Joshua Miktarian.

Thompson shot Officer Miktarian multiple times in the head after he was pulled over for playing loud music in July of 2008.

Thompson faces the death penalty. His sentencing will be delayed as he searches for his fifth set of lawyers.
