CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Authorities searched for possible remains and other evidence at a property next door to suspected Cleveland Strangler, Anthony Sowell's home located at 12205 Imperial Avenue Friday and Saturday.
This, after police discovered eleven bodies at Sowell's home two weeks ago.
The search included thermal imaging tests, which were led by the FBI but conducted under the direction of the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit. Technicians also used x-ray technology to examine walls and further imaging technology to inspect voids inside Anthony Sowell's home.
FBI technicians spent several hours there Friday and Saturday wrapping up around 8pm on each day.
Several bags of evidence were removed from the homes on Saturday.
No word yet on what specifically was seized.
