Super Dad!: Man Jumps From 2nd Floor Window, Saves Wife and Two Kids From House Fire

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Just call him "Super Dad." A regular family man saved his wife and two children early Tuesday morning when their home burst into flames.

Akron Fire tells 19 Action News that the fire started around 3 a.m. at 762 Noah Avenue.

The house was fully engulfed in flames when the dad jumped from a second story window.

Next, the dad caught his wife, 10-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter when they jumped from the second story window.

The entire family was taken to a local hospital be checked out. The 14-year-old girl will spend the night at Akron Childrens overnight for observation. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but, the house is a total loss. A neighboring home at 758 Noah was also damaged by the fire.
