Update: 9-Year-Old Who Collapsed at Skating Rink Had Irregular Heart Beat

ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - The Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office has identified the cause of death for a 9-year-old girl who collapsed while ice skating on November 27th at North Park Recreation Center.

Kiersten Sump, 9-years-old, fell on the ice and was found unconscious. Sump's mother, who was at the rink with her daughter when the accident happened, performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

The Coroner says Sump died from an irregular heart beat.
