19 ACTION NEWS DETAILED FIRST ALERT FORECAST:

WEDNESDAY:  Cloudy and very windy with rain at times, changing to snow showers during the late afternoon hours.  Winds can be locally damaging.  High: Upper 40s, but temperatures will fall throughout the day into the 30s by the afternoon.

A powerful, low pressure storm system still well off to our southwest will track across the Great Lakes throughout the day dragging an industrial strength cold front through the viewing area.  The main threat with this storm will be high winds sustained at 40 mph for an hour or more and winds gusting over 58 mph.  Be prepared for locally damaging winds from Wednesday on into late Thursday.
