WADSWORTH, OH (WOIO) - A Medina County woman will spend 30 days behind bars for animal cruelty.

This, after the SPCA recovered over 20 dogs on Barbara Guillermo's Harrisville Township property back in August.

Three of Guillermo's puppies died on the property and the SPCA says some of her dogs had severe bite wounds that went untreated.

The judge also placed Guillermo on probation for five years.
