Offside's: Mother of Pittsburgh Steelers Player Arrested After Browns-Steelers Game

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The mother of a Pittsburgh Steelers player was arrested and charged when a fight broke out at a rental hall during a Browns, Steelers watch party Thursday evening.

Akron officers responded to the VFW Club on Copley Road shortly after 10pm and arrested three people including the mother of Steelers linebacker James Harrison.

62-year-old Mildred J. Harrison has been charged with assault. She's due in court on the 17th.

Several victims reported they were pushed, punched and struck with beer bottles.

Four victims were treated and released at St. Thomas Hospital. One even had to get staples in his head.

Police say in addition to Harrison, the others charged are 39-year-old Shovonne C. Johnson-Roper and 27-year-old Ross B. Johnson. Both face felonious assault charges.
