CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Toronto doctor who once treated Tiger Woods is facing criminal charges.
Dr. Tony Galea, who has also treated Olympic stars and NFL players was arrested back in October on several charges including smuggling and selling unapproved drugs.
The doctor is suspected of providing athletes with performance-enhancing drugs.
Galea treated Woods in 2008 after the golfer had knee surgery.
