PARMA, OH (WOIO) - Parma Fire investigators say someone set the fire inside ParmaTown Mall Wednesday.

The fire began inside the US Fame Clothing Store around 9:30AM Wednesday and caused extensive smoke damage.

The fire department has a training facility inside the mall and 20 firefighters were in class when the fire broke out, and immediately responded.

One mall employee was treated and released on the scene with a finger laceration.

The mall's four anchor stores - Dick's, Macy's, Wal-Mart and JC Penney - remained open the entire time, while the mall's 110 stores were closed until 3PM.
