CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The trial of accused Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk resumed Monday in Germany.
It was delayed because of Demjanjuk's alleged poor health.
Demjanjuk is accused of assisting in killings at the Sobibor death camp in Poland, where at least 250,000 Jews were killed.
During today's testimony Holocaust survivors recalled the horrors of Nazi Germany.
The 89-year-old sat silently in his wheelchair and showed no emotion as the plaintiffs described how they had survived the Holocaust while their relatives perished.
Demjanjuk did complain of back pain but the judge rejected a defense motion to suspend the trial.
The trial is scheduled to continue on Tuesday.
