Victim I.D'd: One Person Killed After Truck Crashes Into Onlookers At Church Nativity

ASHTABULA, OH (WOIO) - The victim of a tragic accident at a church nativity scene in Ashtabula has been identified.

57 year old Richard Seckman of Ashtabula was among a group of people snapping pictures of the annual nativity event at the Trinity Presbyterian Church on W. Prospect Road when a truck swerved to miss a car and hit him and two others.

Seckman was killed. A second victim is critical and a third victim has since been treated and released.

19 Action News has learned the driver of the car was coming to watch the nativity with three children was at fault for the accident. They were not injured and neither was the driver of the truck.

An investigation is underway at this time. No word on any possible charges.
