CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Dozens of police officers will be laid off next week and that has many wondering, how will this affect your safety?

The city of Cleveland has come up with a plan. But is it a good one?

The plan allows for the removal of other officers, from critical units, to replace the 67 laid-off patrolmen.

From narcotics to traffic to desk duty, the replacements will come from just about everywhere to make up the difference.

The chief's office did tell 19 Action News that the plans to move the policemen around are not set in stone and could change before next week.
