Locked and Loaded: Akron Man Opens Fire While In Drunken Stupor

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - An Akron man slapped with a slew of charges after opening fire while in a drunken stupor.

According to police, Clyde L. Kennedy was drunk when he fired a shot into the kitchen floor of a home and asked his victim if she wanted to die. Two juveniles were asleep in the basement when Clyde fired into the floor. Luckily, they were not injured.

The 51-year-old was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, weapons while intoxicated, child endangering, discharging firearm into an occupied structure, domestic violence Menacing, aggravated menacing, weapons under disability, disorderly conduct intoxication and driving under the influence.
