CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Will somebody turn that thing off? No, not the alarm clock - the Lake Erie snow machine!

Brace yourself for more snow today. Snow accumulation of 1"-3" by 7PM with another 1"-3" expected overnight. And Friday, well, that's when things get a little tricky. Check out your complete Ford First Alert Forecast HERE for complete details! We hope you have that shovel handy.

Here are just a few of the stories we are working on this hour.

As we mentioned, the Lake Erie snow machine seems to be stuck in the 'on' position. Preps are already underway for the next big wave of winter weather.

It's a move that sent shockwaves throughout the Cleveland Schools system. A massive, district-wide academic transformation plan unveiled by Schools CEO Dr. Sanders will place 18 schools on the chopping block. Now, community members will have their say on the proposal that would shut down a third of the city's public schools.

Beep, beep! Grim news for RTA riders. Big time cuts in RTA's future. More than 30-routes slashed and a number of routes scaled back in an effort to save the system millions. Needless to say, riders are none too pleased with the news. Two community meetings are slated for tonight. Find out when and where.
