The Parma Police Department has arrested two men in connection with the fatal shooting of Deon Mills last Monday.
Police say 28-year-old Mills was shot to death while standing inside the door to his 5th floor apartment at the Midtown Towers Apartment Complex on Broadview Road.
The single shot penetrated the wooden apartment door before striking Mills.
A gang of men captured on surveillance video moments before and after the murder.
The suspected ringleaders are now behind bars - 21-year-old James Merrill and 22-year-old Kenneth Sammuels II. Police believe Sammuels was the person who fired the deadly shots.
Additionally, the weapon believed to have been used in this shooting has been recovered. In fact, a total of four guns - including semi-automatics - recovered by police. A small amount of marijuana was also confiscated.
The search continues for the other people involved.
