Sentenced: Caregiver to Spend Weekends in Jail for Stealing from Patient's Father

STRONGSVILLE, OH (WOIO) - A 42-year-old caregiver who stole from a woman with Down's Syndrome's father was sentenced to ten weekends in jail and two years probation Wednesday.

The 82-year-old father called Strongsville Police after $1,548.77 worth of unexplained charges showed up on his credit card and he was missing about $80 bucks from his bank account in November.

Caregiver Kimberly Jones-Daniels was seen on security camera video trying to use the father's credit card at Brunswick's GameStop video store.

Jones-Daniels was sentenced after pleading guilty to attempted identity fraud, theft and forgery.
