Man Accused Swiping Copper from Gravestones Pleads Not Guilty

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO)- The man accused of stealing copper vases from gravestones went before a judge Friday morning.

William Van Dyke pleaded not guilty in court.

This, after a Crimestoppers tip lead police to the suspected vandal.

Police say Van Dyke was vandalizing the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery - even stealing vases from children's gravesites.

Bond was set at $10K.
