(CBS) - Dr. Conrad Murray, charged in Michael Jackson's death, faces a procedural hearing Monday.
Authorities are bracing for a crowd of fans and media as well as more than one dozen members of Jackson's family.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
The court hearing is aimed at assigning a judge to try the case and setting a preliminary hearing date.
Murray will also be fighting to keep his medical license.
He says if he can't continue to practice medicine he will have no way to pay for his defense.
