Career Criminal gets the Death Penalty for murdering a Laundromat Manager

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A three judge panel has sentenced Jeremiah Jackson to death for the murder of Tracy Pickryl.

Pickryl was working as a manager at the Soap Opera Laundry on W. 25th last June when Jackson killed her in a botched robbery attempt.

U.S Marshalls arrested Jackson was a few days later in Cleveland Heights.

Jackson and co-defendants Maurice Harrison, Katrina Dickerson, and James Dixon, all of Cleveland committed a string of robberies before and after Pickryl's murder in Cleveland, Sandusky, and Lorain, before they were arrested.

One March 31, 2010, Harrison was sentenced to 21 years in prison and Dixon was sentenced to 24 years in prison. Then on April 1, 2010, Dickerson was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
