Teen Terrors: Fiery End to High-Speed Chase Lead by Missing Teens in Stolen Car

NEW DETAILS: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A fiery overnight crash in the city of Cleveland.

19 Action News cameras rolling at the scene along East 55th and Carnegie just after 1:30AM.

This, after a Parma Police officer spotted a suspicious vehicle occupied by two males driving at a high rate of speed leaving Knollwood Drive with the headlights off.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Brookpark Road, but the vehicle sped off, running the red light and entering I-480 at the Ridge Road on ramp. Officers pursued the vehicle with the assistance of numerous eastern suburbs where the vehicle eventually left I-271 at Mayfield Road where it continued through Cleveland Heights, University Heights and finally ended up crashing into a telephone pole at the address of 5201 Carnegie Ave in Cleveland.

The vehicle then burst into flames and tore down several power lines in the area. Both males fled from the vehicle with the driver being caught by Parma Officers at the scene.

The driver, as well as the passenger, are 14 and 15-year-old males from Cleveland who were both listed as missing juveniles.

Shortly after the start of the pursuit, officers were advised the vehicle was stolen from Knollwood Drive and another stolen vehicle was dropped off at the location by the teenage thugs.

No one was injured in this pursuit.
