Deadly: Two People Killed in an Early Morning Car Crash

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - An early morning crash leaves two people dead and another person in the hospital.

Cleveland Police say at 5:08AM Saturday, a grey Dodge Durango with three people heading south bound on Interstate 176 attempted to merge onto Interstate 480 west bound.

While attempting to merge the driver of the Durango lost control and ran off the roadway. Subsequent to running off the roadway the Durango flipped over, rolled down the hill and came to its final rest on the State Road exit ramp.

The driver, 22 year old Christopher Wiktorowski and 23 year old Darryl Mayes, Jr - both of Strongsville were killed.

Cleveland Police say both men were ejected from the vehicle.

The 19 year-old woman in the car is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center.
