Food Fight: One Dead, Two Arrested Following Showdown at Mexican Restaurant

CANAL FULTON, OH (WOIO) – Canal Fulton Police are investigating a deadly showdown at the El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant.

Police tell 19 Action News that around 7 p.m., they were called out for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The victim was taken to Mercy Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Canal Fulton police made two arrests.  Alejandro J. Quezada, 20-years-old, was charged with one count of Reckless Homicide, and Illegal Possession of a Firearm in a Liquor Establishment. Both charges are felonies of the third degree. Adan Torres Ornelas, 24-years- old, was also charged with Tampering with Evidence, a felony of the third degree.

Both suspects were booked into the Stark County Jail and await their initial appearance at the Massillon Municipal Court.
