CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Another big government employee is taken down in the county wide corruption investigation.

William Schatz, the former chief lawyer for northeast Ohio's regional sewer district is now charged with taking more than three-quarters of a million dollars in bribes.

Prosecutors say he took the cash from a Cleveland contractor working on the Mill Creek Tunnel project, in order to fix some so-called disputed claims.

Schatz also diverted $167,000 into accounts he controlled.
