CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Anthony Sowell is accused of murdering 11 women.

Some of the families of the murder victims want Sowell's trial to stay in Cleveland.

Sowell's lawyers say their client cannot get a fair trial in Cleveland with all the media attention.

The defense already won battle.  They were able to get Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold off the case.

Defense attorneys went to the state Supreme Court, pointing out the Judge is suing the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The paper says comments about the case were traced to her e-mail account.

A new judge was appointed to the case, Judge Dick Ambrose.
