NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) - You've seen the signs.  Yards are cluttered with them pushing school tax levies.  On May 4, voters will head to the polls to vote.

In North Olmsted, the district is asking for a 7.9 operating mill levy.  School leaders say if the levy fails, all activities will be cancelled starting June 9th.  This means sports, music and clubs.

School buildings will also be closed for events, including community meetings and clubs.

The 7.9 operating levy will cost the homeowner of a $100,000 home - $20.16 a month.
