CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - An Olmsted Falls man accused of vandalizing a local cemetery was a no show in court on Wednesday morning.

William H. Van Dyke's arraignment was scheduled for 8:30AM, but the 22-year-old skipped out. There is now a warrant out for his arrest.

Police say Van Dyke stole numerous bronze flower vases from gravesites at the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery on Broadview Road in Cleveland. In total, 238 bronze vases were stolen for a total property loss of $35,700.00.

On March 24, police learned that vases were taken to Ohio Metal Recycling Company in Cleveland. VanDyke was nabbed a short time later.

If you know where the punk is hiding, call the police.
