New York Police have released surveillance video that could be a major clue into Saturday night's attempted Time Square car bombing.

The video shows a man changing shirts on a sidewalk and walking out of frame.

Police are calling the man in the video a "person of interest."

The video was taken about a half block from where police said a Nissan Pathfinder containing bomb-making materials were found on West 45th Street.

Thousands of people were cleared from the area for 10 hours after authorities learned of a suspicious vehicle that contained explosives.

Investigators later removed three propane tanks, two filled five-gallon gas cans, two clocks with batteries from the vehicle - as well as consumer-grade fireworks and a locked metal box that looked like a gun locker.
