CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Get ready for a sweeping new crackdown on Cleveland's busiest highways, drivers!
Starting Thursday and throughout the rest of this season and into summer, you'll see state troopers on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
"This time you'll be glad to see more flashing lights on the highway. That is, of course, unless you're a drunk driver."
On northeast Ohio roads where normally only local cops patrol state troopers will be joining them, targeting drunks.
The state is teaming up with the Cuyahoga County DUI Task Force and University Hospitals.
Officials say grant money will pay for the extra patrols.
