Gruesome: Information Sought After Body is Discovered in Cleveland Scrap Yard

UPDATE: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - An investigation is underway after a gruesome discovery was made in a Cleveland scrap yard Tuesday morning.

Cops responded to the Miles Avenue scrap yard shortly after 4:30AM for a male victim with a head trauma.

Upon arrival, the officers located the 43-year-old victim - Calvin L. Shine - with injuries to his head and left leg. EMS and Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found the Cleveland man unresponsive. Shine was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

Officers were informed by the owner of the scrap yard that, while unlocking the gate, to the scrap yard it appeared to be stuck and after pushing the gate open he found the victim stuck under the gate. The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office were notified and responded to the scene.
