Man who Crashed Car into Marching Band Expected in Court

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - The man accused of running his car into a high school marching band before a parade will be arraignment Tuesday in court.

67-year-old Kzaimierz Chruscik is charged with failure to control and attempted vehicular manslaughter.

The accident happened on May 2nd at the Slavic Village Parade in Newburgh Heights.

Three teens and one adult from the James F. Rhodes marching band were injured.

17-year-old Justin Otis suffered the most serious injuries. He remains at MetroHealth Medical Center where he is listed in fair condition.
