AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Three people under arrest after police break up yet another meth lab in the city. Police also discovered a marijuana growing operation during the bust.
It went down around 12:30AM on Thursday, while officers were following up on a drug complaint in the 2300 block of 15th Street SW.
Police recovered 20 marijuana plants growing in the basement and several other plants, which were in the drying stages, throughout the house. Officers also recovered an AR-15 rifle and digital scales.
Officers arrested 45-year-old Kimberly L. Myers, 20-year-old Steven M. Myers and 49-year-old Mark J. Smith.
Kimberly Myers was charged with Cultivating Marijuana, Illegal Assembly of Chemicals, Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs, Trafficking in Drugs (Preparing for Sale), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Criminal Tools and Having a Weapon while under Disability. Steven Myers and Mark J. Smith were charged with Cultivating Marijuana and Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs.
All were booked into the Summit County Jail.
