CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society, the City of Cleveland, the City of Cleveland Division of Police, and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department proudly present the 2010 Public Safety Fair and Expo.
This free community event will be held on Saturday, May 22, from 1:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Mall B and C in downtown Cleveland in conjunction with the 25th Annual Police Memorial Commemoration weekend.
This event will include information displays for over 40 law enforcement agencies from across Northeast Ohio, safety and emergency agencies and displays of aircraft and police vehicles and equipment currently being used by these departments. The community is invited to meet first-hand with many of the law enforcement agencies, safety forces and emergency forces. The fair will also include a health assessment station that will provide a variety of health screenings.
Additional activities include the Cleveland Metroparks mobile Children's petting zoo open from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will also be bands and musicians which will be appearing as part of their rehearsals for the International Police Tattoo held later that evening at Public Auditorium. Also appearing will be an impressive performance by The Ohio State University ROTC Pershing Rifle Drill Team.
