AMHERST TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A Lorain County customer service company that was slated to close will remain open.

TeleTech Holdings Inc announced Friday that 400 jobs will be saved.

TeleTech announced a plan to close their Amherst Township facility in early May. The decision to close the location would have eliminated nearly 600 full-time jobs.

TeleTech employs nearly 50,000 workers in 70 calls centers.

Now, 400 of those workers will get to keep their jobs.
